Nissan Technology Features
Nissan has provided drivers in the Cherry Hill, Mt. Laurel, and Collingswood area with a lineup of powerful and innovative Nissan vehicles. With each of these, technologies have been implemented to provide great entertainment, comfort, and safety when drivers sit behind the wheel. Nissan technologies come in all forms, and for those who don’t know what these features do, check out a breakdown of popular Nissan technologies below.
NissanConnect
The NissanConnect system works to provide drivers with a virtual connection to their lives outside the vehicle. It allows you to stay in touch with social media as you access apps like Facebook, and it allows you to listen to what you want with apps like Pandora. Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System
It seems everyone is attached to their cellphones, even when behind the wheel. Using your phone while driving without a hands-free device is dangerous and goes against the law. So for those who need to talk to someone on the go, Nissan has installed the Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone System into their line of up vehicles. Activating this feature gives you the ability to make and receive calls with a simple push of a button located on the steering wheel.
Nissan Navigation System
The Nissan Navigation System delivers turn by turn directions to your destination. Using this allows you to access current and accurate maps, and with the help of SiriuxXM, NavTraffic, and NavWeather, you can get up o date traffic information and weather alerts to help plan your commutes and trips. With this, you also are notified of alternate routes to help avoid congestion on the roadways.
Forward Collision Warning
Forward Collision Warning is safety technology that uses sensors to detect when you’re coming up on a vehicle too fast. As it continuously monitors the road ahead, the sensors calculate the distance between you and the vehicle in front of you. When it detects that you are driving too fast toward this object and vehicle, and that you’re in danger of a collision, it sends both an audio and a visual warning.
Moving Object Detection
Vehicles equipped with Moving Object Detection will be able to get a sense of what’s in their surroundings. It uses a set of cameras to identify any moving objects nearby. Once someone is detected, visual and audio alerts will sound off to warn you of their presence.
Around View Monitor
Most vehicles in the Nissan lineup come with the Around View Monitor feature. It shows you a composite image of what is around you via the touch screen monitor. With this, you get a clear view of the objects and vehicles situated around the car, and it can also be used to see parking lines and your position within those lines when parking.
Nissan technologies can be seen in almost every vehicle in its lineup. From entertainment to convenience to safety, Nissan has added great technologies to help produce a great driving experience for those in Mt. Laurel, Cherry Hill, and Collingswood.
